A minha chegada \u00e0 Funda\u00e7\u00e3o St. Paul’s aconteceu junto com o come\u00e7o do ano escolar, e rapidamente percebi o tamanho dos desafios. Acostumada a trabalhar com projetos, logo percebi que precisar\u00edamos nos estruturar rapidamente para receber o grande n\u00famero de bolsistas que estavam a caminho – seriam mais 10.<\/p>\n

T\u00ednhamos nove bolsistas voltando \u00e0s aulas presenciais, ainda com protocolos de Covid; outros 17 candidatos come\u00e7ando o Curso de Prepara\u00e7\u00e3o e um novo processo seletivo para o ano de 2022-23 prestes a iniciar.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Tivemos o primeiro encontro de pais de bolsistas para integra\u00e7\u00e3o; visitamos dezenas de institutos em busca de potenciais candidatos; administramos mais de 180 perfis de candidatos aplicando para o processo seletivo 2022-23, testando 80 candidatos em um s\u00f3 dia. Tudo isso enquanto mantivemos o Curso de Prepara\u00e7\u00e3o com aulas tr\u00eas vezes por semana. Como parte do mesmo processo, contratamos uma assistente social para realizar a visita familiar e an\u00e1lise socioecon\u00f4mica dos alunos do Curso de Prepara\u00e7\u00e3o. N\u00e3o podemos deixar de mencionar a retomada de eventos para gerar mais conhecimento sobre nosso programa.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

E quando me dei conta caminhamos para a escolha final de mais 10 bolsistas e a sele\u00e7\u00e3o de 20 candidatos para o in\u00edcio de uma nova prepara\u00e7\u00e3o para o ano seguinte. E, claro, n\u00e3o posso deixar de citar a alegria de vermos o nosso primeiro bolsista \u2013 Jo\u00e3o Pedro, o famoso JP, se formar na escola e realizar o sonho de estudar fora.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Posso garantir que trabalhamos por aqui sem parar para aprimorar processos, apoiar nossos candidatos e bolsistas, integrar pais e, claro, buscando atingir a nossa miss\u00e3o de transformar vidas de crian\u00e7as e adolescentes brilhantes e esfor\u00e7ados atrav\u00e9s da educa\u00e7\u00e3o.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
